Elmer called he has decided not to have fu calls when he needs us he will reach out. All the VA stuff that he has to go through to get benefits is upsetting to him and he doesn't want to have to deal with it. If he changes his mind he said he will reach out to us
Spoke with Elmer got info for him regarding meals on wheels. he is working with VA not for sure if he will qualify for services but will fu with him in one month

Spoke with Elmer he is working on getting benefits. He’s doing a lot of back-and-forth with the VA offered assistance if he needed it let me know. He would like me to continually follow up with him. He would like weekly follow ups.
Elmer is working with the VA to get his benefits up and running he he cannot afford to do private pay until then but we continue to like a weekly follow up until he gets everything finalized

Spoke with Elmer he is looking mainly for someone to do some cleaning and cooking. He’s only looking for one or two days a week. I explained to him what we had to offer. Those were too many hours with it being a minimum of 12 hours a week with four hours shifts. I mentioned to him about his resources on payment. He’s thinking private pay. I asked him if he was a vet. He said he was. I explained how the VA benefits might help and gave him the VSO phone number for him to reach out to and will follow up
