Spoke to Sherry. She didn't seem open to me calling to check in, said she had our information. James is still in rehab. She said if they needed us, they would call. She mentioned they have UNL LTC insurance and asked if they needed to use it if we could work ith it.
Spoke with Sherry. Her husband is having surgery on Thurs 7/11. Then rehab. She is unsure if he will need help after that. They have a long term care policy that pays for 60 days is what she thinks that they can use if they need the help. She wasn't wanting to get serious about it yet until he had the surgery and they saw how he was doing. Would be good to check in closer to 7/20 or so.

He is having spinal surgery on July 11th (next Thursday) for stenosis -- 2 locations (1 is closed off and 1 is pinched). Then he will be in rehab for 20 days He has been using a sleep chair to sleep in. james needs help with taking medications, cooking, cleaning and bathing, dressing, toileting. They would not share their exact income but stated that IHC would be within budget.
