Spoke to Velma. Her husband has bipolar and mobility issues. He keeps going to rehab, getting in good shape, then coming home and crashing. He doesn't take meds consistently and ends up very confused. She leaves him at home and doesnt know what is going to happen when she leaves. Home Health is going to start coming in if they can meet face to face first- she said he has to phsycially go to an appointment to qualify with medicare and they can't even get him out of the house. They have called paramedics 5 times in 2 weeks. She sounded very worn and stressed. She asked minimums and rate. She said she needs to talk to Tom first before doing a sofa visit, but she is thinking this may be helpful. He can't bathe or shower right now because it's just too difficult without assistance.

She shared that he is bipolar and he is coming home on Wednesday from a skilled nursing facility and is taking all of her time.
