Spoke to Vicki. Lives in Upper NY. Mom probably needs assisted living instead of independent but refuses to go. Dr said she shouldn't really be alone. She is trying to add home care in hopes if her nutrition stays good she will be more cognizent. She is meeting with another home care agency tomorrow and wants to wait to see how it goes. I suggested they be able to compare us-- and also that we can provide transportation. Also her mom feels not in control and letting her chose an agency within reason might help her feel like she has more control. She said she would be in contact either way.
